  5. Yes, you can now inexpensively save those great patches from your 
  6. Roland Alpha Juno 1 or 2 on Atari ST disks with my latest and 
  7. first shareware offering. The JUNO2LIB.PRG will allow you to save 
  8. and load patches to your Juno and Atari disks. Also, you can 
  9. rename, swap or copy patches. 
  10.  
  11. The librarian is a 'slimmed down' version of a Juno Edittor which 
  12. I wrote about two years ago and was for in house use only. The 
  13. librarian WILL WORK with C-Lab's Soft Link (I use it regularly).

  15. To use the program, just double click on it, or install it on the 
  16. desktop as accepting .JNO files. Once in the program you'll see 
  17. the usual assortment of GEM menus. Load in the supplied *.JNO 
  18. patch file and you will see all of the Juno's programmable patche's 
  19. patch names displayed. You can change the patch name by double 
  20. clicking on it and using the edit requestor which appears. Also, 
  21. the name can be editted by single clicking on the desired patch 
  22. and then hitting the ESC key (just like a major C-LAB product |8^} 
  23. ).

  25. Sending data to and from the Juno couldn't be easier. Just plug in 
  26. the midi cables as shown.

  34. Now, to transfer patches to & from the Juno and the Computer, just 
  35. select the appropriate menu item and follow the Dialog prompts 
  36. from there. An update 'thermometer' will follow the transfer's 
  37. progress. Should an error or problem occur, an appropriate Alert 
  38. box will appear giving you choices on what to do, or giving you 
  39. information as to what is going on. Checksums are computed to 
  40. insure that the data has transferred ERROR free.

  42. WARNING, do not attempt to send data to the Juno unless you have 
  43. loaded and saved the Juno's original contents beforehand. All 
  44. patches in the Juno will be overwritten. YES, I bashed a few of my 
  45. patches in the early versions of the software and was not to 
  46. happy about losing my favorite 'KILLER patch to WRITE PLATINUM 
  47. ALBUMS.' Seriously folx, just load from the Juno and save your patches
  48. to disk first.

  50. To swap or copy a patch, just click and drag a patch name to 
  51. another patch name. An Alert box will ask you if you wish to Copy, 
  52. Exchange, or Cancel.

  54. The most recent change made to a patch library can be undone by 
  55. clicking the Undo menu item or pressing the Undo key. 
  56. Pressing/Selecting Undo again Redoes the change.
